- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar packed
- ⅓ cup melted butter cooled
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
