  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and flour.
  3. Add the corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, bourbon, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the pecan halves and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Let the pie cool completely before serving.
