Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds toasted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and cocoa powder. Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into a pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust. Sprinkle the toasted sliced almonds on top.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before serving.
