Chicken Tikka Masala

Main Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 can tomato puree (400g)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, garam masala, and chili powder. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until golden brown.
3. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
4. Add marinated chicken and cook until no longer pink.
5. Stir in tomato puree and simmer for 15 minutes.
6. Add heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season with salt.
7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
