1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
5. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked fettuccine pasta with the Alfredo sauce and chicken. Serve immediately.
