- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, and beaten eggs until smooth.
Add the cornmeal, flour, milk, vanilla extract, and vinegar. Mix until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
Let the pie cool completely before serving.
