Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter melted
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Dried Cherries
  • 1 cup Pistachios chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in dried cherries and chopped pistachios.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
