  • 1 cup Cherry preserves
  • ½ cup Sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  5. Spread the cherry preserves over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
