Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

- 1 package frozen hash browns thawed
- 2 cups diced ham
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine hash browns, ham, 1 ½ cups of cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, salt, and pepper.
Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
