- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Slice bananas and set aside.
In a pan, melt butter and add sugar. Cook until caramelized.
Add bananas to the caramel and cook for 2-3 minutes.
In a separate pot, heat milk.
Mix cornstarch with a bit of cold milk, then add to the hot milk.
Stir until thickened, then add vanilla and salt.
Combine caramelized bananas with the pudding mixture.
Pour into serving dishes and chill before serving.
