- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pretzels
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it turns a golden brown.
Add the butter and stir until melted and combined.
Slowly add the heavy cream while stirring. Be careful as the mixture will bubble up.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Dip the pretzels into the caramel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Let the caramel pretzels cool and harden before serving.
