Cookie Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Ground hazelnuts
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, ground hazelnuts, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut out cookies using a cookie cutter.
Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Let cookies cool completely. Spread caramel sauce on the bottom of one cookie and sandwich with another.
