  • 4 Apples Washed and dried
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter Cut into pieces
  • 0.25 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. Insert sticks into the apples and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until it reaches 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Dip each apple into the caramel, turning to coat evenly. Place on parchment paper to cool and set.
