- 4 Apples Washed and dried
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter Cut into pieces
- 0.25 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Salt
Insert sticks into the apples and set aside.
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until it reaches 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
Dip each apple into the caramel, turning to coat evenly. Place on parchment paper to cool and set.
