Caramel Apple Turnovers Recipe
Delicious caramel apple turnovers made with puff pastry and a sweet apple filling.

- 2 large apples peeled, cored, and diced
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 package puff pastry thawed
- ¼ cup caramel sauce
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes.
Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares. Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each square.
Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple mixture.
Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal edges with a fork. Brush with beaten egg.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
