  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups apples peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  4. Layer chopped apples over the crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
  6. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
