Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ cup Crushed Candy Canes
  • 24 pieces Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses unwrapped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and egg.
  4. Gradually add flour, salt, and baking soda to the mixture. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in crushed candy canes.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Immediately press a Hershey's Candy Cane Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
