- 4 cups Sweet Potatoes peeled and sliced
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 0.5 cup Butter melted
- 0.25 cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
Place the sliced sweet potatoes in a baking dish. Pour the sugar mixture over the sweet potatoes, ensuring they are well coated.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and caramelized.
