- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 cups brown sugar packed
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 units large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the butterscotch chips.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
