Main Ingredients
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter 1 stick
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a saucepan, combine buttermilk, sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once boiling, remove from heat and whisk in baking soda and vanilla extract. The syrup will foam up.
Let the foam settle down a bit before serving. Serve warm over pancakes or waffles.
