- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 3 eggs large
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 pie crust pre-made or homemade
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, sugar, eggs, cornmeal, flour, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Let the pie cool completely before serving.
