Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter onto the baking sheet. Spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, cut into squares, and serve.
