In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Divide dough into 8 rolls and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
In a small saucepan, melt ¼ cup butter and add sage leaves. Cook until butter is browned and sage is crispy.
Brush sage butter over warm rolls before serving.
