  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tablespoon milk as needed

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, melt the brown sugar and maple syrup over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let it cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until smooth.
  3. Slowly add the cooled brown sugar mixture and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, beating until well combined.
  4. Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the frosting reaches the desired consistency.
