Brown Butter Blondies Recipe

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips optional
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until butter turns golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a large bowl, mix browned butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan before cutting into squares.
