Broccoli Cheddar Casserole Recipe

- 4 cups Broccoli florets
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
Remove from heat and stir in 1.5 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli with the cheese sauce. Transfer to a baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
