  • 4 cups bread, cubed day-old or stale bread works best
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 units eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup raisins optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Place the cubed bread in a baking dish and sprinkle the raisins over the top.
  4. Pour the milk mixture over the bread, making sure all pieces are soaked.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
