Blueberry Sauce Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
- 1 tablespoon water if using cornstarch
In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries release their juices and the mixture comes to a boil.
If using, mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan. Stir well.
Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
