Blueberry Cream Cheese Pastry Braid

- 1 sheet Puff Pastry thawed
- 1 cup Blueberries fresh or frozen
- 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg beaten, for egg wash
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet. Spread the cream cheese mixture down the center of the pastry.
Sprinkle blueberries over the cream cheese mixture.
Cut slits on both sides of the pastry and fold over the filling to create a braid.
Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool before serving.
