Cake Ingredients
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 0.5 cup Butter softened
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 cup Blackberries fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon Dried lavender
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, combine the flour and dried lavender. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition.
Fold in the blackberries gently.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
