Cake Ingredients
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 0.5 cup Butter softened
- 2  Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 cup Blackberries fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon Dried lavender
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan. 
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. 
- In another bowl, combine the flour and dried lavender. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition. 
- Fold in the blackberries gently. 
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
