  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix berries with ¼ cup of sugar. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Spoon the berry mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
