  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Banana mashed
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the bananas, sour cream, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into the banana mixture until just blended. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
