- 4 cups bread cubes
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish and spread the bread cubes evenly.
Layer banana slices and chopped nuts over the bread.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread, bananas, and nuts.
Let it sit for 10 minutes to soak.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
