  • 4 cups bread cubes day-old or stale bread works best
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 bananas ripe and mashed
  • 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Add the bread cubes, mashed bananas, and chopped nuts to the mixture. Stir until the bread is well coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
