  • 4 bananas sliced lengthwise
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add bananas and cook until they start to soften.
  4. Pour in rum and carefully ignite with a long lighter. Let the flames subside.
  5. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
