Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped nuts e.g., walnuts, almonds
  • ½ cup dried fruits e.g., raisins, cranberries

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, honey, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped nuts and dried fruits.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
