Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup maple syrup

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill donut pan with batter about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let donuts cool slightly, then dip in maple syrup.
