- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- ½ cup Heavy cream
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 8 oz Cream cheese cut into cubes
- ½ cup Maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Lightly grease a baking dish. Place half of the bread cubes in the dish, then top with the cream cheese cubes. Add the remaining bread cubes on top.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and cream cheese. Press down slightly to ensure the bread absorbs the liquid.
Drizzle the maple syrup over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
