  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups Warm water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. 2. Gradually add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. 6. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, shape each piece into a ball, and poke a hole in the center to form a bagel shape.
  7. 7. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
