- 1 Slice of bread
- 1 Ripe avocado
- 1 Egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
1. Toast the slice of bread to your liking.
2. Mash the avocado in a bowl and spread it on the toasted bread.
3. Bring a saucepan of water to a gentle simmer. Crack the egg into a small bowl and gently slide it into the water. Poach for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Remove the poached egg with a slotted spoon and place it on top of the avocado toast.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
