Apricot Almond Tart Recipe
A delightful tart with a sweet apricot filling and a crunchy almond topping.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Butter cold, cut into pieces
- 1 Egg beaten
- ½ cup Ground almonds
- 1 cup Apricot preserves
- ¼ cup Sliced almonds for topping
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add beaten egg and ground almonds. Mix until dough forms.
Press dough into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan.
Spread apricot preserves over the dough. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool before serving.
