Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 2 cups apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread chopped apples and walnuts over the crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Top with the remaining crumb mixture and press down lightly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
