- 4 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine apples and walnuts.
In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
Spread apple and walnut mixture in a baking dish.
Sprinkle the flour and oat mixture over the apples and walnuts.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
