Crust
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
- 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3-4 tablespoons Ice water
Filling
- 4 medium Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a tart pan. Trim the edges.
In another bowl, toss the apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Arrange the apples over the crust.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
Let the tart cool before serving.
