Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 package Pie crusts store-bought or homemade
- 1 unit Egg, beaten for egg wash
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a glass.
Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
Brush the tops of the hand pies with the beaten egg.
Place the hand pies on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
