Main Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup chopped apples peeled and cored
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
2. In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
3. Fold in the chopped apples.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, flattening slightly with a spatula.
5. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
6. Serve warm and enjoy!
