Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for dusting
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Add beaten eggs and milk to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  3. Fold in the diced apples.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove fritters from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
