Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

Filling

  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  6. Mix apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the dough.
  7. Roll up the dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
