- 4 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves

- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
