Apple Almond Tart
A delicious tart combining the sweetness of apples with the nutty flavor of almonds.

Crust
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons ice water
Filling
- 4 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add ice water and mix until dough comes together.
Press dough into a tart pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Arrange apple slices over the crust.
In another bowl, mix sugar, almond flour, melted butter, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour over the apples.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Let cool before serving.
