- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1.5 cup Sugar
- 4 Eggs large
- 2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 0.5 cup Almonds finely chopped
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped almonds.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
